Veteran's Day in a tiny Vermont town

Perkinsville is a tiny town in southern Vermont and so it would not have been reasonable to expect the town fathers to produce a speaker of fame for its celebration of Memorial Day.

Who was produced was a man from Massachusetts who spoke about his experience in the Massachusetts State National Guard.

He had enlisted in that outfit a year or so prior to the 911 attacks and he spoke about how it was he was eventually deported to Kuwait in preparation for his punishment in Iraq.

George Bush's plan was to attack countries Israel hated in alphabetical order and so he ordered The Pentagram to produce plans for the sequential invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran and it was Dick Cheney who was tasked to inform The POTUS that he had erred alphabetically and that the US should just invade Iraq after Afghanistan because a man named Saddam Hussein was riding around on a goat with a grenade in his Underoos and, thus, was definitely another Hitler and a threat to American Liberty.

The gentleman from Mass. arrived in Kuwait and was assigned to a huge warehouse while he awaited his personal purgation in Iraq (He was to be punished for his belief that he was a free man rather that a subject of the Sovereign whom he  must always be obedient to because patriotism) where the putative free man was to do his duty (whatever'n'hell that was) to make Iraq free because the entire world must be forced to be free because Jean Jacques Rousseau so willed it.

While he was in the warehouse, he befriended a young woman who had joined the Army because that has always been the dream of young women in America - to either become another Cinderella, marry a handsome prince, and have children of her own- or become a grunt willing to go anywhere and bear any burden because John F Kennedy and Patriotism because ask not what your country is doing to you but ask why you were so wrong thinking you were free.

The two became fast friends and while he was sent to an Air Force Base in Iraq she was sent to Basra where her job was to work sorting mail because a young woman sorting mail in Iraq is what kept America free whereas if she had stayed home, married and had children, that would have been the ultimate act of selfishness and what keeps America free is not Faith and Family but fertile women being propagandised into joining the military to be sent to strange foreign lands to sort mail.

After she had completed her purgation in Iraq she was being flown out of the city by helicopter when it was blowed-up by an Iraqi Patriot who shot it down with a rocket launched grenade and all aboard died.

The gentleman from Mass asked all of us to pray for the young woman whose ultimate sacrifice is what keeps us free - and all nodded in agreement and applauded.

Lord have mercy...
