ABS was watching a beautifully filmed feature on Netflix about America's National Parks which was routinely marred by the repeated claims of Native American this and Native American that but the first injuns ever to arrive here were just as much immigrants as were the Puritans and the other sectarians from England. The original immigrant injuns may have not even been the first immigrants here but followed the earlier immigrant/wanderers from Polynesia or former inhabitants of modern day Russia who wandered over from the north when the waters twixt Russia and Alaska became frozen, and traversable, and they later were inter-married descendants of those original immigrants. Who is to know now that science has become so politicised? Why the focus on calling immigration injuns N ative Americans ?
