Of course the Devil is in the Vatican. A Pope invited him there.

… We would say that, through some mysterious crack—no, it’s not mysterious; through some crack, the smoke of Satan has entered the Church of God. There is doubt, uncertainty, problems, unrest, dissatisfaction, confrontation.

“The Church is no longer trusted. We trust the first pagan prophet we see who speaks to us in some newspaper, and we run behind him and ask him if he has the formula for true life. I repeat, doubt has entered our conscience. And it entered through the windows that should have been open to the light: science.”

The Church opened its windows and doors to the world and then when the rot and desolation became too big to be ignored, the Pope was constrained to act surprised that when the world was invited into the Church the Prince of the world tagged along.

The devil did not slip through any crack. He walked through the opened and unguarded front door bidden entrance there by the ultimate authority in Rome because he who had ultimate earthly authority chose to ignore Tradition that our ancient and permanent enemies are The World, The Flesh, and The Devil.

Our first ancient and permanent enemy is the world and it was the number one enemy that our Blessed, and soon-to-be-Canonised, Pope welcomed into the Church, embraced it and praised it.

Was this an example of continuity or revolutionary rupture with Tradition and Orthopraxis?

Well, let's just read the words of warning about the world from a former Pope:

The Peoples turn to the United Nations as their last hope for peace and concord. We make bold to bring here with Our own their tribute and honor.

Because the world is a worse enemy than Satan, it helps to substitute Satan for United Nations and then reread that claim to get an idea of what a malign message was being advanced by our Blessed Pope, who continued in his praise of The UN which came into existence because Franklin Delano Roosevelt first agreed to turn over much of Christendom to the commie bastid, Stalin, so Russia would agree to the formation of The UN.

You exist and work to unite nations, to bring States into association. Let Us put it in the form that you exist to get people together with one another. You are..a bridge between peoples...We are tempted to say nah tyro characteristic is to reflect in the temporal order what our Catholic Church is in the spiritual order - the sole organisation of its kind, and universal. Nothing higher on the natural plane can be imagined in the ideological edifice of humanity...

There is being established here a system of solidarity which receives the regular and unanimous support, for its supreme civilising objectives, of the whole family of peoples for the good of each and all.

This is the finest aspect of The United Nations Organistaion, this is what gives it its most genuinely human guise; this is the idea that mankind has dreamed of in its journey through history. We would venture to call it the world's greatest hope, for it is the reflection of God's design - a design transcendent and full of love - for the progress of human society on earth, a reflection in which We can see the gospel message, something from heaven come down to earth.

No, it is a grave evil that has bubbled-up from Hell and it is embarrassing to read the malign message of this sad, secular, and seditious Pope. 

Yes, from Pope Leo XII to Pope Blessed Paul VI and beyond, it is all continuity as one can read and  as one can hear. Do not believe your lying ears and eyes that there has been an obvious, dramatic, and destructive rupture in what The Popes of the 18th, 19th, and 20th century Popes did and taught and what the modern Popes have done and taught because Hermeneutic of Continuity.

The Hermeneutic of Continuity is a slogan shroud meant to shield the truth, the reality, of the cataclysmic chasm existing between what former Popes and modern Popes teach and do and that slogan shroud is intended to distract the Faithful from the cruel and harsh reality of a soul-deadening rupture.

Continuity of Continuity, sayeth a Pope, Continuity of Continuity, and all is Continuity.
