Bicycle Tree Woods

ABS was born into a large Irish-Algonquin Catholic family in Springfield, Vermont in 1948 and, as the same age as Israel, he can remember taking car rides out into the country where his family would pass by the famous Bicycle Tree Woods in that weird forest on Route 11 between Springfield and Londonderry.

 It seemed that every time some kid parked a bike in those woods and just run oft and forget it that a tree would suddenly start growing right up through it and capture it.

 The Old Timers thought weird things happened in those woods because a witch oncet used to live near Londonderry but Bunk Barrows was of the opinion; That is just what nature does if you dick around with her...

 Every time they drove past Bicycle Tree Woods, ABS would hear his His Dad, Chuckles, say to his Mom, The Big One, Wow, that's weird...I think that is what's-her-face's bike, right?
