ABS' letter to his Bishop

Your excellency. Thus is the, by now quite passé and quaint , Catholic Encyclopedia's description of the role of the Pope in The Catholic Church:

...He is to be the principle of unity, of stability, and of increase. He is the principle of unity, since what is not joined to that foundation is no part of the Church; of stability, since it is the firmness of this foundation in virtue of which the Church remains unshaken by the storms which buffet her; of increase, since, if she grows, it is because new stones are laid on this foundation.

There is no need for me to belabor the tireless and tiresome novelties this unfortunate Prelate has visited upon the Church - from saying that Jesus became sin (a heresy of Martin Luther) to saying The Holy Ghost knocks out the legs of our tables, overturning everything, and prodding us to begin every anew.

Lord have mercy !!!! What utter UnChristian nonsense.

When, Dear Excellency, WHEN will you stand before your people and profess the Faith once delivered and oppose this radical rascal to his face?

There can be no doubt that the burden to Teach, Rule, and Sanctify your people comes with an a obvious danger concerning this puissantly powerful progressive - were you you to do what it is I plead that you do, what you must do, would jeopardise your office and person and everyone is aware of that.

Still, you must act as though The Faith once delivered is worthy of a defense despite any possible personal repercussions you might face.

I go to daily Mass at OLQA and pray for you and Pope Francis but I think we both know that Pope Francis will not be deterred from exercising his disordered will when it comes to imposing his long-existing plans of a radical anthropocentric program on the Catholic Church.

As one who was born into the Catholic Church in 1948, I write to tell you that I never thought I would have lived to see The Faith once delivered under such a shocking and disgusting attack issuing from the very Papacy itself.

Have us Catholics forgotten the wise admonition of the fifth century  Pope Saint Gelasius?

For it has been reported to us, that in the region of the Dalmatians certain men have disseminated the recurring tares of the Pelagian pest. and that their blasphemy prevails there to such a degree that they are deceiving all the simple by the insinuation of their deadly madness...But since the Lord is superior, the pure truth of Catholic faith drawn from the opinions of all fathers remains present...What pray pemits us to abrogate what has been condemned by venerable Fathers, and to reconsider the impious dogmas that have been demolished by them? Why is it, therefore, that we take such great precautions lest any dangerous heresy, once driven out. strive anew to come (up) for examination, if we argue that what has been known, discussed, and refuted of old by our elders ought to be restored? Are we not ourselves offering, which God forbid, to all the enemies of truth an example of rising again against ourselves, which the Church will never permit?  Where is it written; Do not go beyond the limits of your fathers, (Prov 22:28) and : Ask your fathers and they will tell you, and your elders wil declare unto you (Deut 32:7)?  Why, accordingly, do we aim beyond the definitions of our elders, or  why do they not suffice for us? If in our ignorance we desire to learn something, how every single thing to be avoided has been prescribed by the orthodox fathers and elders, or everything to be adapted to Catholic truth has been decreed, why are they not approved by these? Or are we wiser than they, or shall we be able to stand constant with our firm stability, if we should undermine thoae (dogmas)which have been established by them?

Your excellency, I have written to you several times over the past few years without ever having received even an acknowledgment that my emails have been received and read, to say nothing about having received a response.

As a faithful Catholic, I have a right to the Faith once delivered, I have a right to sound Teaching, and my rights are being violated by this unfortunate Pope and they are not being defended by you  and I would like to hear from you about what it is you are willing to do to defend the Faith once delivered.

Your excellency, please publicly withstand this Pope to his face and defend the Faith once delivered.
