Limpet is alive and well and still serving Uncle Sam as a secret weapon



Newsflash: " An unexploded device, believed to be a limpet mine, was spotted on the side of one of two oil tankers attacked on Thursday in the Gulf of Oman, a U.S. official told Reuters, speaking on condition of anonymity."

 For years, ABS has argued that "The Incredible Mr. Limpet" was more a documentary about the fascinating life of Don Knotts than an entertaining movie.

 Mr. Limpet was crucial to the World War Two battle in the open seas against the Nazi UBoats and who knows just how many times he was the unacknowledged individual responsible whenever one of Herr Hitler's Uboats was blowed-up.


One wonders if Limpet can still make 80 Knots per Kilometer?
