The Star-Spangled Bummer

The Star-Spangled Bummer

O say can you see, there’s nothing but fright,
Most fearfully we bowed before the Virus so gleaming,
Whose gray globe and red stars through the perilous fright
On the TV we watch the D Brix  fitfully dreaming
At the Virus we stare, doom predictions always on air
Gave proof through the night that our Fauci was there
O say does that red starred virus ever yet wave
O’er the land of the locked down and the home of the slaves
